This review is long overdue, but needed to be shared. I was going through a divorce last year and at first tried to find a new home by myself and did not have the time or the knowledge to be very effective. I had called Jacki as a prospective buyer to one of her properties, which ended up being under contract. Based on how Jacki had handled herself on the phone I opted to call her back a week later and enlist her services. Best decision I made, Jacki was/is extremely knowledgeable of Mt. Laurel and the surrounding areas, she assessed my needs and we did tour several properties before getting an early offer in on a property that had a perfect location that popped up out of nowhere. SO many things to say about my experience (2 house sales) with Jacki and Stan. Ultra-professional, really on top of their game with comps and getting you the best possible price for your home, no matter the type or whether it's updated and a "plum" or needing work because it's an estate sale. I never stressed over anything because they were always ready to answer questions, look out for your best interests, proactively getting things moving in the right direction. By following their advice on list price, I had two occasions with bidding wars and closed at higher than list price (my mom's house and a year later my own townhouse). You absolutely cannot find a better agent/team and I am sure you will be suitable impressed if/when you work with them.

Our house was under contract when we had a buyer back out a week before we were to go to settlement. We had already had an estate sale, plus moved the remaining furniture to our new location. This occurred in Dec. when our contract with Jacki was ready to expire. She advised us not to take the house off the market and not wait until Spring. She hooked us up with someone to stage the house, an attorney to represent our legal rights with our former buyer, assisted us with negotiations with the home inspector, and met all our needs and quickly responded to our many questions. The house sold for 10K over the asking price, 4 days after it went back on the market I recommend her enthusiastically! She is a gem.

We worked with Stan Smoyer as our realtor. He is the BEST! My husband and I talked to numerous realtors to make sure we found one that we would want representing us. What led us to picking Stan was he really understood our taste and style right away. He was not pushy at all but rather really listened to what we wanted. The house that we ended up buying was rough in the sense it needed a lot of repairs. He made sure to stay on top of the seller's agent to get all the items fixed. He was extremely knowledgeable about how the repairs should be done and is very detail orientated which helped us make sure we were asking for the items to be fixed in a manner that would be satisfactory to us. There were several times we felt like we were going to walk away from the deal and he always supported our decision, without making us feel that he wasted time but rather that he will do anything to make sure we feel we are making the right decision. My girlfriend and I were first time homebuyers. We decided to check out an open house in our hometown as something to do before a party to attend later that day and as a way of “getting the feet wet”. That’s where we met Stan. From our initial interaction, I had a good feeling about him. My feeling served me well as he proceeded to take an hour of his own time slowly breaking down the home buying process into bite size pieces and answered any and all fears and concerns that we had. After walking out of the open house, I knew we had found our realtor, now we just needed to find our home. Stan meticulously crafted a list of homes for sale after hearing what we were looking for in a home. He encouraged us to present properties to him as well so that he could arrange a showing. Stan was always professional when showing a property and always managed to find something positive to say regarding the property or the potential that it had. At no point in the home buying process did I feel pressured to look at certain properties or to shift my thinking in anyway. When it came time to make an offer, Stan called me from his vacation. It would have been so easy for anyone relaxing on a beach to turn the phone off and deal with it when they returned but Stan took the time to draft a contract and walk me through the negotiating process. Again, I put my trust in Stan and once again he delivered. Stan was able to take a small list of wants and desires, marry that list to potential properties for sale, and managed to find the perfect home for us. Throughout the entire process, he remained in contact and was always by his phone ready to answer any concerns that we had. Even long after we moved in, he would periodically check in on us asking how our home was coming along and was always ready to offer home repair tips when needed. Great great experience all throughout our whole process of purchasing our first main residence. We had been looking for a couple months and had seen about a dozen or so properties. The whole process can be a bit exhausting, but having a great agent on our side really helped tremendously. What was most impressive was Stan's commitment to his clients. He walked us through the whole process to make sure we understood what we were reading and what each step involved. He took the time to go over each item on the inspection report and gave us what his opinion on how to proceed from there. All the time, we didn't feel pressure or obligated towards any particular direction. Jacki was in the process of selling a property when one of the sellers died. This alone would normally wreck a deal, especially with the buyers' home under contract. I represented the administrator of the estate, and getting her appointed was one of the more complicated matters I've dealt with.
