Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks in Burlington & Camden County, NJ and Philadelphia (2026 Guide)

Independence Day is almost here, and Burlington and Camden Counties are getting ready to put on some incredible fireworks displays!

As a local real estate professional and community guide, I've put together a list of the best July 4th fireworks shows happening around the area. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and enjoy an evening filled with community spirit, live entertainment, and spectacular fireworks.

Thursday, July 2

Mount Laurel

The 2026 First Responders Night and Independence Day Celebration will be held at Laurel Acres Park.

Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026

Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM (Fireworks and drone show begin at dusk, approximately 9:00 PM)

Location: Laurel Acres Park, 1045 S. Church Street, Mount Laurel, NJ

Highlights:

Medford

Medford's Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks returns to Freedom Park.

Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026 (Rain Date: Monday, July 6)

Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location: Freedom Park, 86 Union Street, Medford, NJ

Admission: Free (Donations appreciated)

Entertainment:

  • Live music by The Amptons
  • Kid-friendly activities

  • Fireworks at dusk

Please Note:

  • Bring lawn chairs or blankets.
  • No outside food, coolers, alcohol, glass containers, tents, or drones.
  • Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill Independence Day Celebration

Time: Gates open at 7:00 PM | Fireworks approximately 9:00 PM

Marlton (Evesham Township)

Evesham Township's Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026

Time: Festivities begin at 6:00 PM | Fireworks at dusk

Location: Savich Field, 510 E. Main Street, Marlton, NJ

Collingswood

Evening Fireworks & Festivities

Date: Saturday, July 4

Time: Gates open at 6:30 PM | Fireworks at dusk (around 9:00 PM)

Location: Collingswood High School Stadium, 424 Collings Avenue

Viewing Options:

  • Stadium seating
  • Knight Park
  • Various viewing locations throughout town

Parking & Traffic Information

Knight Park

  • Closed to vehicles beginning at 8:00 AM.
  • No parking permitted inside the park.

Free Parking Available At:

  • Scottish Rite Lot
  • Transfiguration Church
  • County Park Lot on N. Newton Lake Drive
  • LumberYard Parking Garage

Road Closures
Expect traffic restrictions around Collingswood High School during the late afternoon and evening.

Camden County Freedom Festival

Date: Saturday, July 4

Time: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Location: Wiggins Park, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ

Celebrate Independence Day with live entertainment and fireworks along the waterfront.

Featured Performance: The Commodores at 8:00 PM

Following the concert, enjoy a spectacular fireworks show over the Delaware River.

Philadelphia – Wawa Welcome America Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day in Philadelphia with one of the region's largest fireworks displays.

Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026

Fireworks: Approximately 11:45 PM following the concert

Location: Benjamin Franklin Parkway (Philadelphia Museum of Art)

Admission: Free

Best Viewing Areas

  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway
  • Schuylkill Banks
  • Belmont Plateau
  • Rooftop restaurants and bars throughout the city

Before You Go

  • Festival grounds open at 3:00 PM.
  • Entry is first-come, first-served.
  • Security screening is required.
  • Glass containers, drones, alcohol, laser pointers, weapons, and personal fireworks are prohibited.
